Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the WisePoint Quest website or booking our services, you agree to be bound by these terms of use. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and clients who access or use our services.

Services Provided

WisePoint Quest provides culinary education services including private coaching, group workshops, and related instructional activities. Our services are designed to improve cooking skills and culinary knowledge through hands-on learning and expert guidance.

All services are provided subject to availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time, though we'll make reasonable efforts to provide notice of significant changes.

Booking and Payment

When you book a service, you're entering into a binding contract with WisePoint Quest. Bookings are confirmed once we've received payment or a deposit as specified at the time of booking.

Prices listed on our website are in British Pounds Sterling and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices for future bookings, though confirmed bookings will honour the price agreed at the time of confirmation.

Payment is required in advance for most services unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing. We accept bank transfers, credit cards, and debit cards. Payment plan options may be available for package bookings.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that circumstances change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please notify us as soon as possible.

For cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session, we'll provide a full refund or credit toward a future booking, at your preference.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may forfeit the session fee, as we've likely declined other bookings and purchased ingredients for your session. We'll make exceptions for genuine emergencies and unforeseen circumstances where reasonable.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions in exceptional circumstances such as instructor illness or facility issues. In such cases, we'll provide as much notice as possible and offer a full refund or alternative date at your choice.

Your Responsibilities

When participating in our services, you agree to:

• Arrive on time for scheduled sessions
• Inform us in advance of any dietary restrictions, allergies, or health conditions that might affect your participation
• Follow safety instructions provided by instructors
• Treat teaching facilities, equipment, and materials with reasonable care
• Behave respectfully toward instructors and other participants
• Provide accurate information when booking

We reserve the right to refuse service or ask participants to leave if they behave in a manner that's disruptive, disrespectful, or potentially dangerous to themselves or others.

Health and Safety

Cooking involves inherent risks including use of sharp objects, hot surfaces, and potential allergens. While we take extensive safety precautions and provide instruction on safe practices, you participate at your own risk.

You're responsible for informing us of any medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations that might affect your safe participation. We'll make reasonable accommodations but cannot guarantee suitability for all individuals.

Our facilities maintain food safety standards and hygiene protocols. If you have concerns about food safety or hygiene during a session, please raise them with the instructor immediately.

Intellectual Property

All content on the WisePoint Quest website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is owned by WisePoint Quest or used with permission. This content is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Recipes, techniques, and instructional materials provided during sessions are for your personal use. You may use them in your own cooking but may not reproduce them for commercial purposes or publish them without permission.

You're welcome to share your experiences and what you learned through our services on social media or with friends, and we appreciate when you credit WisePoint Quest. However, please don't reproduce our proprietary materials verbatim in public forums.

Photography and Recording

We occasionally take photographs or videos during sessions for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to appear in such materials, please inform us at the start of your session and we'll ensure you're not included.

You're welcome to take photos of your own food and cooking process during sessions. However, please ask permission before photographing other participants or capturing instructors in teaching moments, as some people prefer not to be photographed.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WisePoint Quest and its instructors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or website.

Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WisePoint Quest, its instructors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these terms or your use of our services in a manner inconsistent with their intended purpose.

Website Use

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not use it:

• In any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• To transmit any harmful code or engage in hacking
• To impersonate any person or entity
• To collect information about others without consent
• In any way that could damage, disable, or impair the website

Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by WisePoint Quest. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid for twelve months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated. They can be redeemed against any of our services up to the voucher value.

Vouchers are non-refundable but can be transferred to another person. Any unused balance on a voucher cannot be refunded as cash. If the service cost exceeds the voucher value, you're responsible for paying the difference.

Complaints and Disputes

If you're dissatisfied with any aspect of our services, please let us know as soon as possible. We take feedback seriously and will work with you to resolve concerns.

If we're unable to resolve a dispute through direct communication, both parties agree to first attempt mediation through a mutually agreed mediator before pursuing legal action.

We may revise these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make significant changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.

Continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you disagree with modifications, your remedy is to discontinue using our services.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These terms, along with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and WisePoint Quest regarding use of our services and supersede any prior agreements.
