About Our Location
Our teaching kitchen is located in the heart of Bristol, within walking distance of Temple Meads station and several bus routes. The space is equipped with professional-grade equipment and designed to accommodate both individual coaching and small group workshops.
We also offer the option to conduct private coaching sessions in your own kitchen, anywhere across the Bristol area and surrounding regions. For clients further afield, virtual coaching sessions provide an excellent alternative.
How to Find Us
From Temple Meads Station, it's approximately a twelve-minute walk. Exit onto Temple Gate, continue straight until you reach Victoria Street, then turn left onto Culinary Lane. We're located in a converted warehouse building with a green door.
Limited street parking is available nearby, and there's a public car park on Redcliffe Way, about five minutes on foot. We recommend public transport where possible.
WisePoint Quest Culinary Education
We specialise in personalised culinary coaching and group workshops designed to build genuine cooking skills. Whether you're taking your first steps in the kitchen or looking to refine advanced techniques, we create learning experiences tailored to your goals and schedule.
Founded in 2014 by experienced professional chefs, we've helped hundreds of students across the UK develop confidence and competence in the kitchen. Our approach focuses on understanding rather than memorisation, teaching you the skills and intuition that make you a capable, creative cook.
Common Questions
Email is the most reliable method. We typically respond within one business day. Include information about which service interests you and your preferred dates, and we'll get back to you with availability.
Certainly. We're happy to arrange a brief visit so you can see the space and meet one of our instructors. Just email to schedule a convenient time during office hours.
Yes, we work with all dietary needs including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and various allergies or intolerances. Let us know your requirements when booking and we'll adapt the session accordingly.
For group workshops, we recommend booking two to three weeks ahead, especially for weekend sessions. Private coaching offers more flexibility and can often be arranged within a week, depending on instructor availability.
Yes, gift vouchers can be purchased for any of our services. They're valid for twelve months and can be personalised with a message. Email us to arrange purchase and we'll send the voucher to you or directly to the recipient.
We require at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or changes. With sufficient notice, we're happy to reschedule. Cancellations made with less notice may forfeit the session fee, though we try to be understanding in genuine emergencies.
Additional Travel Information
By Train
Bristol Temple Meads is the closest station, with regular services from London, Birmingham, Cardiff, and across the South West. The teaching kitchen is a comfortable twelve-minute walk from the station.
By Bus
Several bus routes stop within a few minutes of our location, including the 24, 42, and 90. Check First Bus or the Travel West website for current timetables and routes.
By Car
If driving, use postcode BS1 4QA for your navigation system. Street parking is limited but there's a public car park on Redcliffe Way. Note that Bristol's city centre has a Clean Air Zone during weekday daytime hours.
By Bicycle
Bristol is an increasingly cycle-friendly city. There are secure bike racks outside our building, and we're accessible via several of Bristol's cycle routes.
Our Teaching Kitchen
The space features six individual cooking stations, each with gas hobs, ample workspace, and access to professional equipment. We've designed it to feel welcoming rather than institutional, with good natural light and a comfortable atmosphere.
For demonstrations and group instruction, there's a central preparation area visible from all stations. We maintain professional hygiene standards and the kitchen is deep-cleaned after each session.
Equipment includes professional knives, a range of cookware, food processors, stand mixers, and specialised tools. You're welcome to use our equipment or bring your own knives if you prefer.
